Greetings and congratulations on your acceptance and forthcoming attendance at Midwestern State University!
New students for Fall 2013 should receive an invitation to attend Spirit Days 2013, our extended summer orientation program - which we encourage all incoming students to attend. As a transfer student, you may be eligible to attend abother special MSU early registration and orientation event. We call it Spirit Days Transfer Day.
This event is only for entering undergraduate students with at least 25 semester credit hours accumulated prior to the onset of the Fall 2013 semester. Similar to our other Spirit Days programs, you will still receive the benefit of early advising and registration. However, the program is only one day in length and the information you will receive is tailored to fit the needs and interests of transfer students with at least one year of collegiate experience. Entering students who do not attend Spirit Days or Spirit Days Transfer Day will be required to attend regular orientation in August the week before fall classes commence. By this time, a number of sections for classes during the fall semester may be closed and your fellow orientation attendees will include a significant number of new freshmen.
In summary, we strongly encourage you to attend Spirit Days Transfer Day at Midwestern State University! Should you be unable to attend, you are more than welcome to attend any of our extended Spirit Days programs, all of which are excellent, or simply attend Fall Orientation in August.
To register, simply refer to the invitation letter you receive from the Office of Student Development and Orientation in the Spring/Summer of 2013 to register online using the link included in the reservation letter (credit card required).
