Student Senate Legislation See Also Student Senate Minutes/Agendas Any bills that are to be submitted must be received by the President of the Senate in order for that bill to be on the record. From there, the bill will be added to the Senate agenda or referred to a committee. The current rule is that bills must be received by the President of the Senate and by on file in the Student Government Office for three days prior to a meeting that it is discussed on the Senate floor. The Senate, however, by a two-thirds vote, may move the bill to be discussed. The following table shall serve as the call list for legislation and will be updated to show the status of all bills submitted this academic year:
