Throughout your collegiate experience you will encounter various opportunities that will assist your scholastic dreams, but most importantly, aid in your personal growth.  At Midwestern, we pride ourselves on being able to encompass an atmosphere with over 100 student organizations, ranging from Greek lettered societies to special interest groups, which allow individuals to utilize leadership by group orientation. These organizations serve as the imperative components of Midwestern’s governing body, Student Government Association, which allow students to voice their opinion in helping determine the direction of our prestigious university.

In addition, our faculty and staff are arranged precisely to provide each student with the most competitive education in the country. We have a student to faculty ratio of 32 to 1 that gives the students and professors an opportunity to have an immaculate interpersonal relationship.  Consumers Digest Magazine ranked Midwestern State University ranked No. 1 under Best Values in Public Colleges and Universities chosen from approximately 3,800 schools within the nation. This accolade expresses the passion that our faculty possesses for providing the best in higher education.

From organizations to faculty, Midwestern provides numerous opportunities for success and the Student Government Association is here to ensure that every potential is achieved. In hopes to enhance the lifestyle of students, the SGA serves as the liaison between the administration and the student body. Our office is continuously promoting great things for our campus and diligently seeing them through.
