Recreational Sports
For sporting event information, click the links inside the 'links area' at the top left of this page. Simply click on the sports link to view all of the sporting events and the deadlines for entry into each sport. We offer a variety of competitive sporting events including, Archery, Basketball, Dodgeball, Soccer, Softball, and Volleyball to name a few. The online forms are great for signing your teams up for different events. It is important you read the policies before you enter a team or league to ensure eligibility.
Wellness Center
The Wellness Center link provides information and some great pictures of our 51,000 square foot weight and fitness center. Built in the summer of 2009, the Wellness Center attracts over 800 students each day and is equipped with CYBEX machines, some of the best on the market.
Wellness Programs
The Wellness Programs link provides information about all of our fitness classes including Indoor Cycling, Pilate's, Yoga, Core Training, Kickboxing, Muscle Works, and Boot Camp. BACTERIAL MENINGITIS INFORMATION
The Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 1107, effective January 1, 2012, requiring all students under the age of 30 entering an institution of higher education in Texas to either receive a vaccination against bacterial meningitis or meet certain criteria to decline the vaccination before the first day of the semester.
MSU has contracted Magnus Health to collect, review and securely store all student documents pertaining to the meningitis vaccine. Follow this link http://healthcenter.mwsu.edu/meningitis/ for more information.
