Sean Brown

Hometown: Burkburnett, Texas

Academics: Kinesiology

Up close: Sean is a sophmore who brings a strong background as a high school distance runner along with him. He ran cross-country and middle-distance events on the track for the Burkburnett Bulldogs. He was a three-time regional qualifier.

After considering his options and several scholarship offers to continue running in college, Sean decided to shift gears, stay closer to home and switch sports to cycling.

While this is Sean's introduction to competitive cycling, it's not new to his family. Sean's father, Steve, raced competitively and was one of the people instrumental in starting the MSU Cycling Team.

Random Sampler: After a knee injury from running, Sean decided to pick up cycling as a means to cross train.  Sean learned how to ride a bike with no training wheels at the age of two!  He's traveled to every contiguous state in the U.S.
