Jared Teel

Hometown: Wichita Falls, Texas

Academics: Mechanical engineering.

Up close: Jared has been a very consistent and productive member of the Midwestern State cycling team over the past three years.

Jared has been racing for the past five years and was the first former rider from the local Team Shadow junior program to advance to the MSU Cycling Team.

Jared earned his high school diploma in June 2004 after being home-schooled and just transferred to MSU after spending his first semester of college at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.

When he's not on the bike, Jared's interests include church, camping, skiing, volleyball and racquetball.

Random Sampler: Jared plays on a professional airsoft team.  He said he's never had a girlfriend.  And he won his Gold Medal of Achievement.
