Frequently Asked Questions:
- You do not need to bring a partner to stunt with at tryouts. We will have plenty.
- There is no fee to tryout!
- Tryouts are closed, meaning the only people allowed to watch you tryout will be the judges and sponsors.
- You will find out the same day after everyone is done trying out if you made the squad. In addition, the scholarship list for the semester will be available after the tryout.
- If you cannot make the tryout, send in a video of your jumps/standing tumbling, running tumbling, stunting/flying, and one cheer. Email cheerleaders@mwsu.edu for an address to send it to. We will then schedule a time for you to come to a practice depending on your video.
- You will have to fill out a release of liability for the tryout. We will have AACCA certified staff on hand to assure necessary safety precautions are taken. Cheerleaders who make the team are required to provide proof of insurance and complete a brief medical history at the first official team practice.
