What Is Maroon Money?

Maroon Money is an easy, safe and convenient way to purchase goods and services while helping manage your finances at Midwestern State University. It is a prepaid account on your MSU Campus Card.

Why should you use Maroon Money?

It’s free! There is no cost obligation associated with a Maroon Money account. It is a service provided to you by the Campus Card Service office at the university. Everything that you deposit is yours to spend.

It never expires! Your balance with Maroon Money does not expire. Accounts are only closed if they are inactive for 18 months.

It’s convenient! with Maroon Money, it’s all in one convenient card. It’s much faster than cash or even other cards.

IT’S WIDELY ACCEPTED! Whether you want food, books, MSU apparel or convenience items, Maroon Money meets the needs.

IT’S SAFE! If you lose your card, simply call the Campus Card Services office and we will deactivate your account so your funds will be protected. When you replace your card, we will reactivate your account so your Maroon Money is ready to spend.

How do I get started with Maroon Money?

Starting a Maroon Money account is easy! Visit the Campus Card Services office in the Clark Student Center, room 197 to open your account. There is a minimum initial deposit of $25 but there are no service fees. We accept cash, checks and credit/debit cards for Maroon Money deposits. Deposits can be made at Campus Card Services, the MSU Business office or any Wells Fargo location throughout Texas.
